When writing a scientific paper there is a specific format that includes the following sections.

I.QUESTION: You must state your question in a formal manner.

2.HYPOTHESIS: State your hypothesis such that it can be tested easily.

3.METHODS AND MATERIALS: State all the materials that a person would need and the procedures they would use to repeat your experiment.

4.RESULTS: State the results of your experiment.

5.DISCUSSION: Use your results to relate to your hypothesis. Was your hypothesis correct? Was it wrong? How and why?
